what do you pretend?

with rules that cannot bend

will you hide the truth with a lie?

do you intend to not even try

it was kept for a very long time

the amount that time cannot say

and in a wave of realization

you're not here in any way

maybe if i look deeper

deep within the thorns

i'll find a piece in my sleep

that will have a tiny scent of you

always said forever

but to my surprise it had an end

ironically i no longer feel you

and that won't ever bend.
