you should not let the night

catch you in surprise

demons are out and about

and they will haul you into their lair

where there

they'll deprive you from your soul

sleep tight my friend

stars shall seek and find truth

what the day brings

the night shall steal

do not wander away

from your thoughts

for in an instance

the can be devoured by those demons

the demons who are lingering

searching for people like you.

once i walked into face of the night

i did not know

that such wonders were alive

diamonds in the sky

rays of pure delight

but i was only seduced by its beauty

and the demons then took me down

and made me their prisoner.

i cannot speak

for the slightest sound

might wake the dead

and the demons roam tonight

you should not let the night

catch you in surprise

'till the stars unite us again

i don't know when we shall cross paths

for my truth awaits me

and my journey is about to
