somewhere in the middle of here and the end of the world a man sits next to his dying wife. she lies so still feeling the tubes injected in her lifeless but determined body. he leans over to look at her then sits back down next to her relieved that her eyes still hold a bit of life. he's been sitting there for nearly 48 hours and hasn't moved. he wants to be with her until she takes her last breath. outside the intensive care room there are a dozen of people waiting for the end. they cry desperately at the luck that has fallen into their sisters life. all of the 7 of the sisters can only recall that not too long ago they were experiencing the same tragedy with yet another sister that passed away. a few hundred miles back, a niece sits in a corner and cries. who will be next", she whispers to herself as she hears the bitter news. the news that her aunt is slowly dying a few hundred miles away.
